How do I create an RMA?

Start an RMA

Log into Salesforce

Use the "Sales" option (it is easier to get started with than Sales Console)

Select "Cases"  "+ New Case"

Filling in the RMA form, Part 1

  1. Complete the subject line (free Text) The format is Module, Quantity in Brackets if more than 1, return reason i.e. 40-110-001 (2) repair
  2. Enter the Sugar RMA number (only while running both)
  3. Search for the Account name. this is dynamic. Enter the first few letters and search the selected accounts
  4. Search for the contact name. this is dynamic. Enter the first few letters and search the selected contact
  5. Select the Sales Office, this is a drop down menu
  6. Type of return, this is a drop down menu. See appendix 1
  7. Receiving Office, this is a drop down menu
  8. Originating Team Name, this is a drop down menu, use Customer service tea

  1. Enter Module part Number
  2. Enter quantity
  3. Enter serial number(s)

for more then one type of module

4.   Enter Module part Number
5.   Enter quantity
6.   Enter serial number(s)
7.   Save
