Operator Basics

The label is broken up into the following sections

  1. Batch code, this is the same number generated by the QR code
  2. The batch quantity
  3. The Work Order number
  4. The customer
  5. The part number
  6. The QR code

The the client page at https://mes.pickeringtest.com:6030/client, click anywhere on the screen to open the operator login. Enter your 4 digit login number then press the enter button on screen. This number will be the same you use for STRIP3

You will not be able to type using your keyboard on this screen. Please click the numbers using your mouse or touch screen

On here you will be able to enter the batch code from the label, or scan the QR code using a QR compatible scanner. Once you have done so press the open button

From here you will see a list of jobs. Select the one you wish to do, then press the green start button

This screen will show you the mandatory fields (1) you need to enter information into. For any additional data you need to enter, such as failure types press the plus button (2) to add those fields onto the screen, and select the amount (see 2nd screenshot). Fill out any information you need and press the green tick (3) when done. You can also pause what you are working on if you are stopping for any reason by pressing the pause button( 4).
