2024 Appraisal Review Timeline and dates (copied)
Part 1: Peer Selection
8th July - The 360-review cycle kicks off with peer selection: As the starting point in the review cycle, you will be asked to select 6 peers to review you. If you are unsure who you should select, think of peers you have worked with closely for at least the past 3 6 months and who will be able to give you thoughtful, constructive feedback. Your manager will approve 3 of the 6 nominations and can override your choices if they feel they are not appropriate. If you have questions about who you should select, talk to your manager.
22nd July - Peer selection closes: All employees must have completed their peer selection. Managers can now begin approving / declining peers’ suggestions.
29th July - The manager's peer selection approval period closes: To cut down on employees completing an excessive number of peer reviews, P&C will be reviewing the final peer selection numbers. We will contact managers and direct reports if we need to remove selections.
Part 2: Write Reviews
30th July - The review cycle is officially open: Everyone, including managers, can start filling out their reviews. Managers can draft their reviews for their team members but will not be able to submit the feedback until all other 360s have been received.
Part 3: Post Review Sharing Stage
12th September - The review on Lattice ends: Regardless of completion, the review cycle will end. At this point, managers can begin reviewing the feedback for the people that report to them, if they have not already done so, and prepare for their 121’s.
When the review cycle ends, managers will then be able to share review packs with their teams. As a reminder, these packs will include the appraisal the manager has completed, and self-assessments. It will not include peer reviews or upwards feedback. This feedback should be summarised as part of the review managers complete.
It is best practice for review packs to be shared 24-48 hours before the scheduled 121. This allows the employee time to prepare. There should not be a long gap between review packs being shared and the 121 meetings.
Managers have the option of sending a message with the review pack. This should be personalised, but an example is below.

Hi [employee name], attached is your review packet for our 2024 Review Cycle. As your manager, I have read your self-review and peer feedback - great job! Overall, you did fantastic. Some points I wanted to surface...etc.
31st October - All review 121 discussions should be completed
Managers please note: If your reviews are finished before the 12th September, please let P&C know and we can end your review cycle early so you can go ahead and book your appraisal 121 meetings with your team members.
