Remote Desktop Gateway Access
You can connect to servers and computers within the Pickering Network through the Remote Desktop Gateway. You will need to configure some settings on the Remote Desktop Client.
Open the remote desktop client / app.
In the computer field, type the name or the ip address of the server you are connecting to. Click Show Options
3. In the user name field, type your user name in the format pickering\firstname.lastname
4. Select the Advanced Tab
5. In the connect from anywhere dialogue box, click Settings
6. Select the button - Use these RD Gateway server settings
7. Server name is remote.pickeringswitch.com
8. Select the Checkbox Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses
9. Select the Checkbox Use my RD Gateway credentials for the remote computer
10. Click OK
11. Click connect
12. Type your password and click ok
