Go to Settings - General - VPN 

Select Type - L2TP 

Add the following Settings in the Configuration Screen 

Description: Any descriptive Text you like - eg Pickering VPN 

Server: 81.145.47.199 

Account: firstname.lastname  (eg. kerry.mitchell) 

Password:  Leave this as Ask Every Time 

Secret: Please ask somebody in IT for this 

When these settings have been entered, Click Save VPN Configuration 

Once the settings for the vpn connection have been entered, in order to connect to the vpn go to Settings - VPN and move the virtual switch 

You will need to enter your usual network login password 

You will see the word VPN in the top left hand corner of the screen once you are successfully connected
