Securing Onelogin with Multifactor authentication

If you are logged into the company network, you will be able to log straight into Onelogin.

If you are logged into the company network, or if you are working out of the office, but logged into VPN, then you will be able to log straight into Onelogin. In that instance, please go here for instructions to set up Multifactor Authentication.

The first time you login to Onelogin outside of the company network, you will be asked to secure your account with 2-factor authentication.

Choosing how you are going to authenticate

You will then be given a selection of Authentication options to choose from. These are as follows:

  1. Onelogin email - onelogin will email you a code
  2. Onelogin Security Questions. You can choose to save the answers to some questions, and when attempting to login to an app will be asked to verify the answers to the questions.
  3. Onelogin SMS. You will be sent an SMS code to input into an app.
  4. Onelogin protect. This involves downloading an authenticator app from either the Apple Store or Google Play store depending on which mobile device you use. When you attempt to log into a site or application that requires 2-factor authentication, you will be sent a code, or given a checkbox to check, on the app.
  5. WebAuthn. You will use a hardware device such as a USB dongle, or a fingerprint scanner, for authentication.
