Editing modules containing text, images or PDF's
Here is a guide on how to add basic text, images and attachments to modules on a page.
Firstly, on the left hand side of the home page or on the page you wish to edit, hover over the pencil icon and click edit.
It should then show additional icons on each module displayed on the page.
Hover over the pencil icon to the right hand side of the module you wish to edit, and click edit content.
This should then bring this screen up. On the blank area of this screen you can type any text or cut and paste any text here. Adjusting any sizing or font, similar to using word/email etc.
If you wish to add an image. You can either upload them into the document exchange files first. Instructions to do this can be found under uploading org chart. *However, you can add photos directly from snipping tool and paste straight into this area without saving them in the document files first* I find this a lot quicker way when doing certain things.
Click on the picture icon and if you have already uploaded the image to the document files you click straight onto browse files.
Find the image you wish to insert and double click to add.
If you wish to add a PDF document, click on the IFrame/PDF icon.
You will need to download the PDF to the document files first and browse files to add. Here you also have an option to enter a URL website address link if required.
Please note: the PDF will not be visible at this stage until you have pressed save once completed.
To remove anything you have done in error or removing previous text, just highlight and delete or click on the image or PDF and it will turn blue and then click delete.
Once you are finally happy with the information you have inserted, press save.
It should then appear in the selected module for all to view.
Changing column layout or adding a background colour to the whole module row
If you wish to change the column layout or background colour of a particular module row, then click on the settings to the left hand side of the module heading, see below: -
Then click on the 'column layout' tab and choose an alternative layout which might suit better, then apply.
To change background colour, click on the 'colour options' tab and pick the shade you want and apply. This will then display the colour in the background. Please remember if you wish to change it again, press 'remove row colour' first and start again.
As you can see you can also add background images and adjust spacing. For 'Imagine Options' From this tab you can choose/add your own image or choose one from the gallery. Just follow the instructions on your preferred choice and click apply once finished.
The last tab heading 'Spacing & Height' allows you to adjust to your preferred choice. Normally, they are standard default settings. Only to be changed if better visibility is required. Its a case of playing around with the spacing options to get to know what difference it makes!
