General Introduction

First thing you'll notice on an admin's access to the intranet is the ability to edit the site. If you want to make any changes to the site whatsoever, then you will need to hover over the little pencil on the left-hand side of the screen and click the button to the right of it saying 'Edit my site'.

Once 'Edit my site' has been pressed, the site will reload with more features for you to access.

1) These buttons allow you to edit the content which is shown within the 'Title' section of the page.

- Specifically, the pencil allows you to edit.

- The overlapping squares of this section allows you to duplicate all of the content which is within the section (or 'module').

- The settings button allows you to change the more hidden features of the module including the module background color, the display date and time as well as copying the module.

- The little 4-way arrow button allows you to pick up the module and drag it to a new location within the intranet.

2) These buttons do pretty much the same thing apart from the fact there are some different ones.

- The 4-way arrow allows you to drag and drop the 'Title' section of the page.

-Settings button is slightly different in this one, it allows you to choose how the columns are laid out within the page, for example you can have the column going all the way across the page or you could have one column taking up 75% of the room and another taking up 25%. It also allows you to choose the image shown behind the title area (if you want one that is), as well as optional color overlays to add to the background image / row. Final thing within settings is the 'Spacing & Height' section, which allows you to change the spacing above / below / left / right of the content and adjusting the height to where you would like it in the page.

- The third button down allows you to tuck the title row behind the navigation menu, or to un-tuck it from behind the navigation menu.

- Again, the two overlapping squares allows you to duplicate the content within a row.

- Then the bin icon allows you to delete the row.

3) These settings have the same abilities as number 2, apart from not having the tucking option as that only applies to the title row.

4) This option is very self-explanatory, it allows you to add a new row to the top of the page. Once the new row has been created, the options seen in number 2 will appear next to the empty row.

Once again these options are basically the same apart from not having the option to delete the module, which can be found by hovering over the settings option of this section.
