3.2.1.5 Relays

  1. Relays shall have two library tabs one for split relays and one for composite.
  2. Split relays shall have a multi-part symbol composing of a part for each individual switch and a part for the coil.
  3. Composite relays shall have alternative part symbols.
  4. Composite relays shall have a normal full representation of the relay as the default symbol.
  5. Composite relays shall have an ‘alternative 1’ symbol with the second switch reversed for operating as a cancel relay.
