If you have an older project that uses the old format with slashes rather than dashes e.g. C/CP/042 then this saves time by automatically updating all components in a project to the newer C-CP-042 format. It should be noted that this will not update very old projects that use personal libraries.

Open a project, and then open the schematic that you wish to modify.

There must be a project output folder created. This can be done by simply running a PCB DRC or other output process.

Click: File -> Run Script and select IterateAllOpenSchematicsOfAProject

Click OK and the following window will open, note that the operation is partially reversable as closing the project without saving the schematics would maintain the original design.

Click OK and the script will open all the schematics and update any components that use the old format. Once complete a report will open showing what has been carried out.
