6.1 Output Files Generation
As listed above there are many outputs required to complete the design process, the following sections illustrate one process based on using an “output job” file to generate these but others are possible. The individual is free to alter the process to their personal preference provided that the correct information is produced. Some setup is required for the output job file, the details are as follows:-
Generate the “blank” output job file by selecting File – New – Output Job File (see Job File Generation figure). The file will automatically be saved to the open project under the Settings tab in the Projects window.

The blank job file is now displayed (see image) and can be configured. If desired right click on the job file and select Save As then define a suitable file name i.e. “{module number} {PCB number}.OutJob”.

When selecting the items to base the report on set [PCB Document] as the data source for projects with a single PCB. In the unlikely event that a project has more than one PCB the outputs should be duplicated with one set per PCB.
