A typical email to a prospective fabricator would include a statement similar to “Please provide a quotation to manufacture PCB {enter PCB reference number & revision} using the attached data. I require prices for {enter quantities that are required} PCBs on a {enter manufacturing time}-day delivery”.

For a PXI module sized PCB the typical quantities requested would be 10, 25, 50 & 100 off.

Standard delivery would be 10 working days. For urgent enquiries this can be reduced to 3, 5 or 7-day.

It is also acceptable to request “best fit” pricing, however, not all fabricators offer this.
